Excitement reached fever-pitch at Wealthify’s offices on Friday 2nd December as news broke that we’d scooped two prizes at the 2016 Digital Experience Awards in London.

Winning both the Financial Services and Digital CX Innovation categories, the awards recognise our innovative and fresh use of digital design and technology to provide a first-class online experience for customers. The judges were impressed with our creative design of digital tools that help alleviate people’s misgivings about investing by educating and building trust, giving people the confidence to try investing.

In both our categories, Wealthify was up against household names like LV= and Nationwide Building Society.

The UK Digital Experience Awards are fast becoming one of the most important events in the calendar for digital and customer experience professionals. The winners were chosen by a panel of independent business leaders and announced at a ceremony in London.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Richard Theo, said: “These awards are vindication for the enormous effort and consideration we put into the design of our digital customer journey, as well as the extensive user testing we carried out during development. We worked closely with our digital design agency, True Digital to agree a clear set of core principles – bold, simple, intuitive design using natural, confident and encouraging language and clear and helpful steps. We kept true to these principles through the entire design process, ensuring digital experience was working as hard as possible to provide a consistent and clear approach that encourages users to consider investing. The result is a first-class online experience that is helping give people the confidence and to make the important move from cash savings to investing and make their money work harder.”
