How to download a bank statement

If we’ve asked you to provide a bank statement, follow the instructions from your account provider below to download a copy

BARCLAYS BANK PLC

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Go to the small blue arrow below your name – on the top, right-hand side
  3. Choose ‘My Documents and Messages’
  4. Click ‘My Barclays Documents’

THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK PLC

  1. Log in to your online banking
  2. To access statements and reports, from your home page select ‘Statements or Reports’ from the left-hand menu
  3. Select ‘statement’ from the drop-down list
  4. Select the Account you wish to view
  5. Select a recent date range and then search
  6. Now, right-click your statement and choose to save as a PDF

FIRST DIRECT

  1. Log in to online banking
  2. View your statements, and select Print at the bottom of the screen
  3. Enter your dates required (three or six months), and select ‘Print’ again to open a preview
  4. You can either change the destination or select PDF software, and use ‘Print’ or ‘Save’ as required

HALIFAX

  1. Login to online banking
  2. Select ‘View statement’ on the account you want to view from your account homepage
  3. Select ‘Print’ at the bottom of the statement page
  4. Then select ‘Print’ in the top right corner
  5. Change the destination/printer to either 'Save as PDF' or 'Microsoft Print to PDF'
  6. Click ‘Save’

HSBC BANK PLC

  1. Log in, then select your account
  2. Click on ‘Manage’ which is just under your account balance
  3. Select ‘Statements’ from the Documents section
  4. Click on ‘Download’, next to the most recent statement

LLOYDS BANK PLC

  1. Log into your Online Banking account
  2. Go to 'Your Accounts'
  3. Click on 'View Statements' on the right of the account you want to view
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of transactions and click on Print
  5. This will open a new page with a printer friendly version of your statement
  6. Click ‘print’ in the top right corner of the statement in a green box
  7. Change the destination/printer to either 'Save as PDF' or 'Microsoft Print to PDF'
  8. Click ‘Save’

MONZO

  1. Download your bank statements directly through the Monzo app
  2. Head to the Account tab
  3. Tap your name at the top and scroll down to 'Statement history'
  4. Export the month you need as a PDF, CSV or QIF file     
  5. If you need a statement printed, signed or stamped for something like a visa application, chat to Monzo in their app.

NATIONWIDE BUILDING SOCIETY

  1. Select View accounts- tab located at the top of the page
  2. Select your current account- link under current accounts
  3. Select ‘Previous’- from the View accounts menu on the left side of the page
  4. Select your statement date
  5. Save the PDF of your statement on your computer

NatWest

  1. Log in to online banking
  2. Statements option on navigation menu on the left-hand side
  3. Click ‘View, save and print PDF statements and certificates of interest (up to 7 years)'
  4. Select an account from the list to see available statements and click ‘next’
  5. Select a statement from the list to view
  6. Click ‘view statement’ in the bottom right corner
  7. Click ‘Download Statement (PDF)’ located just above the list of transactions

THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND PLC

  1. Log in to Digital Banking
  2. Once you’re logged in, select ‘statements’ from the options on the left of the screen
  3. Click on ‘view statement PDFs and certificates of interest’
  4. Choose an account from the list
  5. Choose a time period to view
  6. Your full statement from that period will be displayed
  7. To download it as a PDF, simply click on the ‘Download statement (PDF)’ link at the top left

SANTANDER UK PLC

  1. Login to online banking
  2. Click on the specific account
  3. Click the ‘Statements & Documents’ link from the left-hand menu
  4. The Statements & Documents page will display
  5. Click ‘Go’ next to the statement you wish to print; your statement will open in a separate window

STARLING BANK

  1. Log into your App on your device and then follow the below instructions depending on your device

Android:

  • Go to the Menu; the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the screen
  • Account Management
  • Statements

iOS:

  • More
  • Account Management
  • Legal Documents
  • Export Statements (Bottom of list)
  1. Select the format as PDF
  2. Select your most recent statement and then tap next in the top right-hand corner
  3. Enter your password
  4. Tap Export Statement at the bottom of the screen
  5. Choose your email provider and send yourself an email

TESCO BANK

  1. Log in to online banking and select the account you wish to view
  2. Select ‘Online Statements’ from the left menu
  3. Click ‘View Monthly Statements’ of the most recent date available
  4. Save the statement to your computer

Mobile:

  1. Select the Account you wish to view
  2. Select the Menu (Red Circle)
  3. Select ‘Statements & Documents'
  4. Select the most recent Statement
  5. Send this to yourself in an email by selecting the share icon in the top right-hand corner

TSB BANK PLC

  1. Log in, then select your account
  2. Select ‘Print’ at the bottom of the screen to open a new window
  3. Select ‘Print’ again, and Save as PDF

TRIODOS BANK

  1. Log in to internet banking
  2. Click on “Account Information” on the options on the left of the screen
  3. Click on “Statements”.
  4. Each statement available has a small print icon next to it. If you click on any print icon next to any statement, this will allow you to open the statement on your screen as a pdf document.
