User experience is critical to developing our product and keeping our promise to our Customers, so we’re looking for a passionate UX designer to understand our users better and help us build the best products for them.
Working directly with our Chief Product Officer, this is a newly created role where you’ll get to work across a wide range of exciting web and app projects including:
You’ll be working collaboratively with Design and CX specialists to deliver specific projects within an agile product development environment. You will also collaborate with our in-house Development team, helping to bridge the gap between Design and Development.
As part of a small but growing team, the desire to aim high to deliver the best for our users is essential, whilst working hard and having fun along the way.
Things you’ll be working on
Drawing on your experience and knowledge of UX best practice and technology trends, you’ll be scoping, designing and wireframing/prototyping new journeys or optimising existing journeys for our app and responsive website.
You’ll collaborate effectively with the Product team and wider business, running workshops, confidently communicating ideas and presenting clearly to peers and the senior management team.
Working with brand guidelines, you’ll be responsible for building great customer experiences, meeting the needs of our Users simply and intuitively and enhancing our Wealthify brand.
You’ll be working closely with our CX specialists and Customer Care team to conduct user research and test prototypes, iterating designs to optimise existing and create new products and experiences.
Things you’ll need
Experience and success working in a similar role where you’ve been immersed in all areas of UX and product design.
A genuine passion for creating industry-leading, user-centred designs.
Extensive experience in journey development, wireframing, user research, prototyping and testing.
Experience working within a start-up would also be ideal and you'll be working across both mobile and web.
Qualifications or skills you will need
Highly proficient with industry standard design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Axure, Marvel etc.).
Experience/ qualifications in user-centred design methods and techniques.
Ability to develop and present concepts and collate/synthesis feedback for iterating designs.
Experience using A/B or MVT tools e.g. Google Optimise.
Familiarity with usability tools such as Decibel Insight/Hotjar/Crazy Egg.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment (not essential).
Experience of working on financial products and services (not essential).

Salary up to £40K depending on skills & experience.
