The role

Part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to develop and implement multi-channel marketing activity to meet ambitious growth targets for direct to brand customers.

You’ll be managing a small team consisting of Customer Communications Manager, Content Writer and Content Marketing Exec to deliver impactful marketing campaigns and customer communications, so you’ll need to be results-driven and highly collaborative.

The role is responsible for developing marketing strategy, implementation and delivery of above-the-line advertising, PR and customer communications (CRM) and you’ll provide the CMO with timely, accurate reports and insightful performance analysis. You also working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to integrate campaigns where appropriate.

You’ll be comfortable working in an agile planning environment and have the desire to aim high, work hard and have fun along the way.

Things you’ll be working on

Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct and manage media planning and buying and creative and PR agencies to develop advertising campaigns which drive brand/product awareness and consideration and lead to customer acquisition (current channels include OOH, radio, press)
  • Set campaign objectives and test criteria; monitor, measure and report on performance; propose and implement improvements to increase ROI.
  • Oversee the content strategy to deliver content which drives brand awareness and consideration.
  • Direct and manage the Customer Communications Manager to develop and deliver CRM programmes. Establish and improve conversion, retention and cross-sell rates.
  • Input into website and app design to optimise the customer experience and drive conversion.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and industry trends to inform tactical and strategic direction.
  • Select and manage multi-skilled external agencies as required.
  • Be the Wealthify brand guardian in terms of look, feel and tone of voice.

Things you’ll need

At least 5 years multi-channel marketing experience is essential, preferably in digital/financial services where you can demonstrate successful end to end campaign management

Broad knowledge of marketing covering digital, social and traditional channels is essential

Experience/ knowledge of UK savings, investments, pensions market(s) is desirable

Qualifications or skills you will need

  • Degree educated or strong academic background plus relevant experience
  • CIM/ IDM marketing/ digital marketing qualification
  • Experience of using Google Analytics and other analytics packages
  • Confidence in stakeholder engagement and management
  • Budget management (used to working to CPS, CPA), highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Editing and proofreading skills
  • A team player with experience of people management and development
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Excellent practical regulatory knowledge, used to working within Fin Prom regulations
