This exciting opportunity is to join the investment team that powers the Wealthify investment strategy. We run a series of model portfolios, both passive and ethical, and this role will play a crucial part in contributing to their successful performance. We are deliberately a small, but perfectly formed team. We’re looking for someone who can fit in with the current team, roll up their sleeves and help at all levels of the investment process. Things you’ll be working on

  • Fund selection:
    • Leading the fund selection and research process
    • Managing relationships with our preferred fund houses
  • Asset Allocation
    • Keeping abreast of market developments, identifying macro trends and investment opportunities
    • Input your ideas and thoughts into the asset allocation process. Coming forward with tactical and strategic ideas to trade on, or themes to explore further.
    • Attending and contributing to Investment Committee meetings
  • Investment Ops
    • Assisting with fund trading process and overseeing client rebalances
  • Communication
    • Writing client facing literature and commentary
    • Talk to high net worth customers about their investment Plans


The role is full time and you will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 10am – 4pm, your hours can be flexible around this.

Things you’ll need
We want to make sure you are set for success and this job is right for you. Therefore, it’s important to highlight that you’ll be working in a small team. There are about 45 people in the company, with only four on the investment team. The desire to aim high, work hard, communicate effectively and articulately and having fun along the way is absolutely essential.

You should organise, prioritize and take ownership of your workload and possess an innovative self-starting character to help shape the investment function. 

What qualifications will I need?

  • Educational qualifications: to degree level
  • Relevant Investment qualifications: CISI Level 7 (or equivalent). CFA not required, but preferred.

What experience do I need?
For this role we require at minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the Asset or Wealth Management industry. In your cover letter please provide demonstratable experience in at least three of the four headings covered in “Things you’ll be working on”.
